Workshops

Our workshops are gentle, hands-on sessions designed to reconnect you with seasonal materials and traditional craft. We work with locally foraged foliage, seed heads, twigs, grasses and natural fibres.

Each session focuses on skill, sustainability and quiet creativity. No previous experience is needed — just curiosity and a willingness to slow down.

A little about me

Emmy Whitcomb

Based in West Sussex, Emmy is a seasonal artist and maker drawn to natural form, texture and quiet detail. Working with sustainably sourced and thoughtfully foraged materials, her practice follows the rhythm of blossom, hedgerow and changing light. Her workshops blend refined craftsmanship with a relaxed, intimate setting where creativity can unfold at an unhurried pace.

What to Expect

  • Workshops are kept intentionally small to create a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable to learn and create.

  • All materials are thoughtfully foraged or responsibly sourced, gathered with care for the land and the wildlife that depends on it.

  • You’ll be gently guided step by step, with practical instruction and encouragement throughout, whether you’re new to crafting or building on existing skills.

  • Each workshop reflects what the season offers, working with natural materials at their most beautiful and abundant.

  • There is space to slow down, experiment, and enjoy the process without pressure or rush.

  • “From the moment I walked in, everything felt carefully considered. The seasonal materials, the gentle pace, the attention to detail. Emmy has a way of guiding you without ever taking over, and the result felt completely my own.”
